Greek theatre offer: valid from Saturday 08/05/2010 to 20/06/2010
Day 1: arrive at hotel, accommodation and taste of typical local sweets at “Bonajuto factory”, the oldest chocolate factory in Sicily.
Day 2: have breakfast and be ready to leave by 11:30 to go to Syracuse (just 40 minutes).
Fish-based lunch and then you will have time to stroll through the streets or choose a guided visit of Ortigia, the heart of the city centre.
At 17:00 transfer to the Greek Theatre to see a classical representation which start at 18:45.
Return to hotel at about 22:00.
Variation: departure from the hotel at 16:30 to go to Syracuse to see a classical representation which start at 18:45. Drive back to the hotel at about 22:00 with the possibility of book a fish-based dinner in a traditional restaurant of Ortigia.
Day 3: relax in the wellness centre of the hotel.
Under request, the wellness centre offers a range of extra thermal and beauty treatments.

Day 2: day completely dedicated to relax in the wellness centre of the hotel or to explore the town on your own. At 17:00, guided visit of the most important monuments of Modica (about 2 hours).
Day 3: check out and transfer, at midday, to “Lago di Santa Rosalia agriturismo” for having a lunch.
Under request, you could have the possibility to take part to a special ride excursion paying an extra fee of €12,00.

Saturday: Special Safari Tour. The first stop will be Scicli where you can visit the most important monuments of the town. Then, you will come up the river of “Irminio” with special 4x4 jeep. Finally, arrive to Ragusa.
Sunday: Relax in the wellness centre of the hotel or you can spend the time at leisure to explore the town on your own.
Check out at 13:00.

The inspector Montalbano shooting location tour:
Day 1: arrive at hotel and welcome cocktail. Our tour begins with the visit of the major locations in Modica as seen in the fiction: after a walk in the main street, Corso Umberto, we will see, among other sites, the Cathedral of St. George , splendid example of baroque art, and the Cathedral of St. Peter , both Unesco world heritage sites. Then, break at “Bonajuto factory” where you can taste some typical local sweets. Dinner at “Osteria dei sapori perduti”, a local restaurant.
Day 2: have breakfast and be ready to leave at 9:30 to go to Punta Secca to see the Montalbano’s house. Nearby, we came across “Caffetteria Montalbano” to have a coffee break.
We proceed to Donnafugata to visit the villa (Donnafugata castle) of the mafia boss Balduccio Sinagra. We continue to Montelusa and Vigata (Ragusa Ibla), in order to visit other film-sets.
Stop for lunch in a local restaurant where Montalbano goes to.
At 17:00 return to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the town on your own or to relax in the wellness centre of the hotel (under request, the hotel offers a range of extra thermal and beauty treatment).
Dinner at “Locanda del Colonnello”, a local restaurant.
Day 3 : have breakfast and ready to leave the hotel at 9:30 to go to Scicli (Vigata) to visit the police station of the fiction and to explore the small city centre. The itinerary goes over the most suggestive places such as Donnalucata and Sampieri, both of them are bathing places which have beeen used as sets in the famous TVseries. Return to hotel at 15:00 and check out.
